HOPE started one day while I was searching for a new doctor for my kids:

I found the Experience daunting.  Not only was information scattered on dozens of great individual websites, but there was no pricing information to be found anywhere and when you called the offices, the prices quoted were much higher than an insurance company would pay for the same exact services, which I thought was completely unfair.

So I collected a bunch of my friends, many of whom I had worked with for years, and we decided to fix both problems.  First we would aggregate all the information about Doctors in one place.  Next, we would ask them to list their prices in an efficient marketplace format.

The result is FairCareMD, which looks like this – everything in one place.

This was a good start and we have helped thousands of patients and hundreds of doctors with our first release.

Now, as we scale our pricing solution to Every Doctor in the US, we also have enabled others to use our simple partnership structure to extend the Experience for patients and seven companies have joined so far.  On FairCareMD next week you will be able to research doctors powered by data from Factual, RateMDs, and the US government as well as any other useful sites that we can find, learn about costs from HealthcareBlueBook, make a deal for care on FairCareMD, finance your care through American Healthcare Lending, and then we hand you off to Register Patient to make the appointment and fill out your paperwork.  Next, your data can be imported into your doctor’s EMR and to your own PHR.  You can transfer that data as needed to other providers and they can collaborate for your best care.  When it is time to get a prescription, you can shop for medications or just have it sent to your favorite pharmacy.  All seamlessly integrated with just a few clicks.
